Overview

BITS Pilani offers scholarships, fellowships, and financial assistance to help students achieve their dreams.

About 25% of students receive some form of scholarship or financial aid, often even before admission.

Scholarships are awarded based on merit or merit-cum-need.

Continuation of scholarships requires maintaining good academic standing and good conduct

Scholarship policy for First Degree students admitted through BITSAT-2025

Every year, about 25% of students admitted to First Degree Programmes get semester tuition fee waivers in the range between 10% to 100% in the form of either merit or merit-cum-need scholarships as tabulated below:

Duration of Scholarships

Scholarships are granted for one semester only.
Continuation in subsequent semesters depends on an academic performance at the Institute.
Continued financial need (for merit-cum-need awards)

Special Conditions

If a student’s programme is modified or delayed beyond the maximum permissible duration, they must consult the appropriate authority before registration.
Fees and other charges must be paid in advance each semester.
No refund of fees will be made in case of withdrawal from any course(s).

BITS -RMIT Higher Education Academy: Future Leaders Scholarship

Students admitted through the BITS–RMIT Higher Education Academy are eligible for the RMIT Future Leadership Scholarship for the programme components delivered in Melbourne, Australia.

Scholarship Value: 20% tuition fee reduction for the duration of courses delivered at RMIT.
Note: There will be no waiver of admission fees.
