A Seamless Path to Global Engineering Excellence

BITS Pilani offers globally integrated pathways for engineering students through international and inter-campus degree programmes.

The University has partnered with five prestigious global institutions—RMIT University (Australia), University at Buffalo (USA), Iowa State University (USA), Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (USA), and CentraleSupélec (France)—to offer 2+2 dual-degree B.E. programmes. Students complete the first two years at BITS Pilani and the final two years at the partner university abroad, subject to meeting the respective eligibility criteria, and graduate with two engineering degrees—one from BITS Pilani and one from the partner institution.

In addition, meritorious and high-performing students enrolled in B.E. programmes with PCM input at BITS Pilani’s STEM campuses in India can opt for an inter-campus 3+2 pathway, earning a B.E. degree from BITS followed by an MBA from BITSOM, Mumbai, enabling a seamless transition from engineering to leadership and management.

BITS Pilani has partnered with RMIT University in Australia to establish the BITS-RMIT Higher Education Academy. This academy offers 2+2 collaborative degree programs in five engineering disciplines: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics (EEE), Electronics and Communication (ECE), and Computer Science (CS).

BITS Pilani has partnered with Iowa State University, Ames, to provide students with an exceptional opportunity to pursue unique 2+2 international collaborative academic programs in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and Computer Science (CS).

BITS Pilani has collaborated with the CentraleSupélec, Paris, France, to offer students an exceptional opportunity to pursue unique 2+2 joint international academic programs in Computer Science.

BITS Pilani has partnered with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, USA. This academy offers 2+2 joint collaborative degree programs in two engineering disciplines: Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and Electronics Engineering.

The 3+2 Inter-campus Vertical Transfer Programme aims to nurture the next generation of technology-enabled business leaders by combining a rigorous engineering foundation with a top-tier management education. This unique offering integrates a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) programme from BITS Pilani (STEM campuses in India) with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the BITSOM programme, Mumbai, completed over a span of five years.
