What Makes These Degrees 'Integrated'
At BITS, the first level of study includes degrees like B.E., B.Pharm., M.Sc. and M.M.S.
Despite a few having “Master” in the name, they all start right after school and are considered equal in level. This gives students the chance to students to skip the usual separate bachelor’s or master’s stages and gives students the flexibility to explore more.
Cross Disciplinary by Design
We understand how important it is for programmes today to have a balanced mix of foundational courses across disciplines such as mathematics, science, and the humanities, that instil students with real-world problem-solving skills.

Conventional systems award intermediate degrees (such as B.A. or B.Sc.), and this is exactly what we intend to move away from. The academic structure of programmes at BITS Pilani moves toward a full-fledged qualification, streamlined and focused from the outset.

At BITS Pilani, our students have the freedom to accelerate and graduate earlier, or pace themselves and take longer if needed. Though the programmes are meant to be completed within eight semesters, students have the freedom to choose a flexible academic path.
