Krishna Muniyoor is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani – Pilani Campus. Krishna earned his Ph.D. from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, where he was granted the TISS–LSE Doctoral Fellowship and the ATLMRI (Adecco TISS Labour Market Research Initiative) Fellowship during his doctoral studies. On behalf of the fellowship, he was a Visiting Researcher at London School of Economics. He has over ten years' experience of teaching and research and his research interests cover a variety of fields in Economics such as Financial Inclusion, Employment, Energy & Technology, Economic Growth, Migration and Food Consumption. His research demonstrates a commitment to empirical research and policy applicable to economic issues of contemporary interest.
