Where Women Lead Innovation
The Centre for Women's Studies was started with a sponsorship from the University Grants Commission in 2005. We work in the area of developing gender-friendly technology, both in theory and practice and in bringing women into the mainstream of development with the help of technology. The aim is to ensure that women not only benefit from technology but also participate in the process, from design to application. We undertake a diverse range of academic and field activities to empower women.
