Message from Associate Dean, Student Welfare Division

Student Welfare Division in BPDC functions as a focal point for activities that create a nurturing environment for our students which empowers them with discipline, integrity, compassion, and respect for all. We strive to ensure a convivial ambiance for our students who come from diverse cultures and beliefs. Comprehensive growth of students is encouraged through myriad activities by clubs and associations throughout the year. We are looking forward to working more closely with students to create a safe and healthier campus.

Hostels

There are four hostel blocks for boys and two blocks for girls. Each Hostel is provided with a resident warden and other required maintenance staff. Hostels are Wi-Fi enabled with rooms that are fully air-conditioned and furnished with study tables, chairs, single beds, and wardrobes. Separate mess is available for boys and girls which serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Medical Center

Campus Clinic provides emergency medical care and first-aid treatment. Clinic nurse is available 24/7.Doctor is available from Monday to Friday from 12pm-2.pm. Dedicated vehicle is available round the clock to transport students to the hospital in case of emergency.

Counseling Service

The Counseling Service facilitates students to identify their strengths and overcome their stress. It empowers students and staff by creating awareness of mental health and wellbeing through regular targeted activities. It maintains an atmosphere of acceptance and complete confidentiality.


Counseling service is free and voluntary. Sessions are conducted for an hour on a weekly, or biweekly basis depending on the concerns and need. The counselor addresses various concerns such as academic, relationships, anxiety, depression, stress, loneliness, loss and adjustment to new changes, self-esteem, and time management.
